shotpdf provides a hosted API that renders URLs and HTML into screenshots, PDFs, and social images, as described on this site and the pricing page.
Access requires an API key. Keep your keys confidential: you are responsible for all use under your keys. If a key is compromised, revoke it from your profile immediately and mint a replacement.
You must not use the service to render unlawful or harmful content, to abuse, overload, or circumvent the service or its quotas, or to render content you have no right to render. We may block abusive URLs or revoke keys, without notice, to protect the service.
Plans include a monthly quota of metered requests (see pricing). Each API request counts toward the quota, including requests served from cache. Requests past the quota are rejected until the quota resets.
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions in USD. Paddle is our merchant of record: it processes your payment and handles sales tax/VAT and invoicing. Failed payments may lead to suspension until the account is current.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, non-payment, or breach of these terms. On termination your keys are revoked.
The service is provided on a best-effort basis, without a service-level agreement and without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
